Have Your Name Immortalised In Print by…

I got a newsletter today from Adele Parks which mentioned you can bid for a chance to appear in Adele’s next novel! I duly clicked on the link to see what the whole thing was about and I felt I needed to mention it. It’s a charity auction held by the Financial Times and Quintessentially in aid of Room To Read and you can bid on items, on EBay, to help raise money for the charity.
Some of the things you can bid for include: Having your name immortalised in print by Adele Parks, Kate Long, Jill Mansell, Jane Fallon, Sue Mongredien (Lucy Diamond), Lisa Jewell, Katie Fforde and Mike Gayle. There are lots of other bids so head on over to Quintessentially to see them all!

Someone’s just pointed out to me that under the description of my lot on ebay, it says ‘Have your name (or your child’s name) IMMORALISED in print by Sue Mongredien’ – and feel I should just confirm that I won’t be doing anything immoral with anybody’s name, I will be IMMORTALISING it! (It did make me laugh though!)
