Cover Change: Foursome by Jane Fallon
January 11th, 2010 by Chloe
It looks like the cover of Jane Fallon’s third novel Foursome has been changed to follow the covers of her previous two books! A light blue cover had originally been released but it seems this is the official one. The book is due out on 4th March 2010, and sounds fab. I loved Jane’s other books so I can’t wait for this one.
“Rebecca, Daniel, Alex and Isabel have been best friends since university. Rebecca married Daniel, Alex married Isabel and, for twenty years, they have been inseparable. But all that is about to change…When Alex walks out on Isabel, Rebecca thinks things can’t get any worse. But then she finds out the reason why and she’s left harbouring a secret she’d rather forget…And there’s more upheaval to come in Rebecca’s life as her emaciated, neurotic, self-obsessed colleague, Lorna – her arch nemesis at work – suddenly becomes a regular feature in her social life. Rebecca’s once-happy foursome is now a distant memory and with hearts broken and friendships fractured, it seems that change is never a good thing. Or is it?”

Love that cover. (Loved Jane Fallon’s previous books too.)
This sounds great! I didn’t know there was a third book coming out but I loved here previous two. Infact, her first book was the one that got me into chick lit as I had never readlly read any of this genre before but I loved it so much I found a whole new set of authors and books that I loved. Can’t wait for this one!
Much prefer this cover to the other one. Can’t wait for it to be out!
OMG! OMG!! OMG!!! I’m sooooooooo excited! I was only googling for the next Jane Fallon book a couple of weeks ago – and found nothing
Walked into a high street book store (mentioning no names) and there it was – top shelf – Foursome. Off on holiday in a few weeks and this is just what I need. BUT will I be able to resist reading the book until my hols – I doubt it very much. Loved her first two books and this one looks just as good.
Just finished the book. Loved it,well written, made me ache in good and bad ways and really question my own motives towards long term friendships. The usual female voice was in bloom, and the fly scope of married life was the focus. Many times I thought I had the answer to what would happen next and got a good round of nope when Jane turned it around.
My fav quote in the book ” He will make some domantrix a lovely husband” has me in stitches.
