Cover Wars: Bad Money by Louise Patten

When I read Louise Patten’s debut Bad Money earlier this year I enjoyed it but was very disillusioned with the cover. I felt it was very off-putting and anybody seeing this on a bookshelf would pick it up, see the cover and put it back down again. It seems the publishers agree as they’ve re-designed the cover for the paperback release. The paperback is out on 1st July 2010 and looks miles better.
I still don’t think the cover conveys what the book is about but it’s still 100 million times better than the one on the left. Do you agree?

Definite improvement!
Definatley better. I haven’t read this, but the first cover looks pretty desolate and is a leetle creepy! New cover is a little bit cliched but still an improvement x
